Identity verification

Sender Verification

To ensure the security of exchange transactions, protect users against fraudulent activities, and comply with AML/KYC requirements, the service conducts mandatory verification of the person directly making the transfer of funds.

Verification must be completed by the actual sender of the funds. Providing documents or completing the verification process on behalf of the actual sender by another person is not permitted.

Verification Procedure:

  1. Providing an identity document.

To confirm your identity, you must provide a clear and high-quality photograph of one of the following documents:

    ● a passport spread containing the holder’s photograph and personal information;
    ● or a photograph of the front side of a driver’s license.

The entire document must be visible in the photograph. All personal details, the photograph, document number, and other information required for verification must be clearly visible and legible. Glare, blurred images, cropped edges, covered sections, or foreign objects obstructing any information are not permitted.

  2. Recording a video identity confirmation.

You must record a video in which both your face and the identity document provided for verification are clearly visible at the same time. The document must be held in such a way that the information displayed on it remains legible and can be matched with the person appearing in the video.

During the video recording, you must clearly say the following statement aloud:

“I, [Full Name], confirm that I am exchanging [amount and currency] for [currency to be received] through the Cryptosha service. The funds being transferred belong to me. I am making this transfer voluntarily, without any pressure or coercion from third parties. Date: [dd.mm.yyyy].”
  3. Submitting verification materials.

The photograph of your identity document and the recorded video must be submitted for verification to the official Telegram account of the service’s support team.

  4. Providing proof of payment.

After transferring the funds, you must additionally provide a screenshot or photograph of the payment receipt confirming that the payment has been completed. The information contained in the provided proof of payment must allow the relevant transaction to be identified.

Requirements for Verification Materials and Security Measures:

  • The video must be recorded as one continuous file. Editing, cuts, merging of separate fragments, filters, modification of individual parts, or any other alteration of the original video recording is not permitted.

  • Verification must be completed directly by the owner of the funds who is actually making the transfer associated with the exchange order.

  • Payments made by third parties may be rejected or referred by the security team for additional verification until the circumstances of the payment have been clarified.

  • If necessary, the security team reserves the right to request additional documents, photographs, information, or other supporting materials required to confirm the sender’s identity, ownership of the funds, and their source.

  • If false information, forged documents, altered materials, or attempts to provide information that does not correspond to reality are identified during the verification process, this may constitute grounds for refusing to process the exchange transaction.

  • While verification is in progress, processing of the exchange order may be temporarily suspended until all required documents and information have been received and reviewed.

  • All documents, photographs, video recordings, and other materials provided by the user are processed in accordance with the service’s applicable Privacy Policy and are used exclusively for verification purposes, transaction security, and compliance with AML/KYC requirements.

Completion of Verification

After all required materials have been received, the security team will review them. If necessary, the user may be asked to provide additional information or supporting documents.

Once the verification process has been successfully completed, a manager will notify you of the verification result, provide further instructions, and assist you in completing the exchange in accordance with the established procedure.

Until you receive confirmation that the verification has been successfully completed, it is recommended that you do not take any additional action regarding the exchange order unless otherwise agreed with the support team.
